Ocuvana Eye Gel

Ocuvana Eye Gel contains Sodium Hyaluronate 0.18% with the safe preservative Stabilized Oxycholoro Complex (SOC), a substance that moistens the surface of the eyes. 

Sodium Hyaluronate is hypotonic in nature and counter-acts the hypertonicity associated with Ocular dryness responsible for Ocular Surface Damage. Well, tolerated in patients with moderate–severe dry eye. Improvement in both signs and symptoms of Ocular dryness provides instant relief and long-lasting protection of the Ocular Surface. 

Composition:

Sodium Hyaluronate BP   0.18% 

Stabilized Oxychloro Complex 0.005% w/v

(As a preservative) 

Sterile aqueous buffer vehicle q.s.

With Carbomer & D-Mannitol

Packaging: Ocuvana EYE GEL is available in a 10 ml Lami Tube pack.

How to Use Ocuvana Eye Gel:

For proper use, first, wash your hands. To avoid any contamination nozzle tip should not be touched. Hatchback little, pull down your lower eyelid to make a pouch. Instill Ocuvana Eye Gel and close your eye for 1-2 minutes. Roll your eyes in different directions to spread the drug all around the surface of the eye. If you are using other eye drops wait for 5 minutes before using them. If you are using a contact lens, first remove your contact lens before using eye drops. Tight the cap on tube after the use.

Cautions: Don’t use the solution if you are allergic to any ingredients. 

Consult your ophthalmologists before starting treatment for Dry Eye condition, your doctor may decide the severity of dry eye and suggest the eye drops to be used. if your condition persists for more than 3 days or there is inflammation, redness in your eyes, or any uncomfortable situation after use you should discontinue using the Eye Gel and consult a doctor.  

Storage – Store below 30°C, and protect from sunlight and moisture. Do not freeze.

Adverse effect & Safety Warning: 

Blepharitis, Eyelid Dermatitis, itching, irritation, conjunctivitis, conjunctival infection, corneal lesion, and keratitis such as corneal diffuse. 

Don’t swallow the solution. Don’t touch the tip of the nozzle to any surface as this may contaminate the Gel. Replace the cap after instilling the Gel in the eyes. Use the solution within 30 days after opening. Keep away from the reach of children. If there is a change of color of the solution don’t use it further. 

Legal information:  This product may cause blurred vision temporarily time itching, burning, and redness after putting them in the eye(s). It is advised don’t drive, use machinery or do any such activity till you are sure of such activities.  The results may also vary. In some patients, allergic reactions may include redness, itchiness, or the face. If you experience any such reaction clean your face and eyes with fresh water and seek medical attention.
