Ocuvana HA contains Hyaluronic Acid a substance that moistens the surface of the eyes, its action is very similar to natural tears present in the eyes. It forms the long-lasting protective film over the surface of the eye & helps in reducing stinging, burning sensation & itching in the eyes.
Common uses include dry eye conditions caused by excessive air pollution, winds, excessive heat, air conditioning, certain medication, excessive use of screens computer, mobile, etc. It helps instantly in these dry eye symptoms by refreshing eyes and adds to a soothing feeling.
Composition:
Sodium Hyaluronate BP 0.1%
Stabilized Oxychloro Complex 0.01% w/v
(As preservative)
Sterile aqueous buffered vehicle q.s.
With Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose IP, Glycerin IP, Boric Acid IP, Calcium Chloride IP, Erythritol USNF, Levocarnitine IP, Potassium Chloride IP, Borax BP & Sodium Citrate IP
Instruction for Uses:
For proper use, first, wash your hands. To avoid any contamination vial dropper should not be touched. Hatchback little, pull down your lower eyelid to make a pouch. Instill 1-2 drops and close your eye for 1-2 minutes. You can keep your finger on the eyes near the nose to avoid spilling eye drops. Roll your eyes in different directions to spread the drug’s all-around surface of the eye. If your using other eye drops wait for 5 minutes before using them. If you are using a contact lens, first remove your contact lens before using eye drops. Tight the cap on the vial after use.
Cautions: Don’t use the solution if your allergic to any ingredients.
Consult your ophthalmologists before starting treatment of Dry Eye condition, your doctor may decide the severity of dry eye and suggest the eye drops to be used. if your condition persists for more than 3 days or there is inflammation, redness in the eyes, or any uncomfortable situation after use you should discontinue using the eye drop and consult a doctor.
Storage – Store in a cool place below 30 degrees Centigrade.
Adverse effect & Safety Warning and:
Blepharitis, Eyelid Dermatitis, itching, irritation, conjunctivitis, conjunctival infection, corneal lesion, keratitis such as corneal diffuse.
Don’t sallow the solution. Don’t touch the tip of the nozzle to any surface as this may contaminate the solution. Replace the cap after instilling the drops in the eyes. Use solution within 30 days after opening. Keep away from the reach of children. If there is a change of color of the solution don’t use it further. Not for injection.
Legal information: This product may cause blurred vision temporarily some time itching, burning, redness after putting them in the eye(s). It is advised don’t drive, use machinery or any such activity till you are sure of such activities. The results may also vary. In some patient’s allergic reactions may include redness, itchy, or the face. If you experience any such reaction clean your face and eyes with fresh water and seek medical attention. You need a valid prescription from registered medical practitioners.
